Indraneil was born in Gudivada. But he was brought up and his education was carried out in Vijayawada. Indra did his graduation from KBN College, Vijayawada. He is very much interested in Classical dance and so later trained in Devdas Kanakala Institute. Famous actress Manju Bhargavi was his Kuchupudi Guru.
